Qing Ming Festival Standard Operating Procedures Released - Inter-state Traveling Strictly Not Allowed
The National Unity Ministry (Kementerian Perpaduan Negara) has introduced the standard operating procedure (SOP) for the upcoming Qing Ming Festival or Tomb Sweeping Day.
People who wish to sweep the graves will have to comply with the relevant rules.

Every year from the end of March to the beginning of April is the Qing Ming Festival. As the government has announced until end of March, inter-state traveling is still not allowed but the public are allowed to tomb-sweeping.

According to the statement released by National Unity Ministry, the public can go to the cemetery or the columbarium for the tomb-sweeping activities and worship ceremonies within 14 days before and after the Qing Ming Festival (April 4), that is from March 20 until April 18.
The Ministry also intends to separate two SOP for the tomb-sweeping activities in both the cemeteries and columbarium :-
