Hyundai Motor America Added N Line and Plug-in Hybrid Variants To Its 2022 Tucson Line-up

Hyundai Motor America announced the addition of N Line and Plug-in Hybrid models to its 2022 Tucson line-up.
The all-new Tucson design has a distinctive N Line Sport model for enthusiasts including motorsport-inspired design. The new-all Tucson stems from a series of Hyundai Design Center concepts expressing its evolving Sensuous Sportiness global design identity.

Tucson N Line and Plug-in Hybrid models will be produced in Ulsan, Korea and will be available in spring and summer respectively.

As part of Hyundai’s growing N brand, Hyundai developed an N Line version of the Tucson with a more aggressive exterior and interior appearance. Tucson N Line combines dynamic design elements with motorsport-inspired details.

Hyundai Tucson N Line comes with these exclusive exterior features such as, the N line front and rear bumper fascia, N Line grille, black headlamp bezels fender N Line badging, black side mirrors and window surrounds, dual-tipped exhaust, N Line rear spoiler and an unique 19-inch black alloy wheel design.

As for the interior features, there are the N Line logos available on its steering wheel, shifter and seats, leather and fabric seating finishing, and also the red accents on seats and door trim, black headliners, metal pedals, as well as door sill plates. It also comes with the Bose premium audio system.
There are 4 colours to choose from, which includes the Ash Black, White Pearl, Titan Grey and Red Crimson (N Line exclusive colour) with N Line interior details that includes N-branded black leather sport seats with cloth inserts and red stitching on the door trim and armrest.

At the same time, the company also introduced a new Plug-in Hybrid model powered by the 261 hp, 1.6-litre turbocharged, direct-injected hybrid engine mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission.

It has the Plug-in Hybrid Level-II charging capability, that is able to recharge the system in less than two hours, by using the 7.2kW charger.

The all new Hyundai Tucson has e-handling driving dynamics. It matched sporty exterior design and the handling package was improved. It is even more agile than the previous generation. The suspension has been refined in conjunction with e-handling systems to minimize traditional compromises between sporty handling and superb ride comfort.

As a Tucson hybrid model turns-into a corner, the electric motor system applies precise incremental braking force to the front wheels, increasing their tire contact patch on the road surface for enhanced traction and steering response while initiating turn-in. Then, as the vehicle moves to exit the corner, the electric motor applies precise torque to the rear axle, increasing the rear tire contact patches for enhanced traction and control accelerating out of the corner.

These two Hyundai Tucson are covered by a 10 year/100,000-mile powertrain limited warranty, 5-year/60,000-mile new vehicle limited warranty and 7-year anti-perforation warranty. The complimentary maintenance is 3 years/36,000 miles of normal oil changes and tire rotations.
