Rolling With An Abundant Amount Of New Upgrades, Is The Newly Unleashed Renault Koleos

Soon the Malaysian streets will be seeing the new 2021 Renault Koleos, as the company’s flagship premium SUV has just been launched today by TC Euro Cars (TCEC).

It has been upgraded with a more robust, high-end design, promising comfort and an outstanding performance. Thus, successfully establishing itself as a benchmark in the large SUV segment.

TC Euro Cars’ chief executive officer Wong Hoe Mun commented, “The Koleos is Renault’s flagship SUV that meets Malaysian’s requirements for a premium continental SUV with features for everyday personal usage as well as business needs. The Koleos continues to be an appealing option for corporates especially through the ‘Renault Subscription’ program with all-inclusive and affordable monthly plans.”

The new 2021 Renault Koleos is being offered in three upgraded variants, which are the Koleos, Koleos Signature and Koleos Signature Plus.

In Peninsular Malaysia, they are priced at RM 181,885, RM 201,086 and RM 206,886 respectively. All the prices however, are only applicable until June 30th, 2021.

Under the hood, the new Renault Koleos is powered by a 2.5-litre petrol engine that produces 171 PS of power and 226 Nm of torque. It is paired to an X-Tronic CVT automatic transmission to provide a balance of performance and efficiency.

As for the upgrades, standard on all variants, the new 2021 Renault Koleos now comes with a new Highland Silver shade, which has replaced its previous colour hue, the Ultra Silver.

Illumination wise, installed is a set of new lighting signatures that features the company’s PureVision full LED head and tail lamps. Also, the tail lamps which are now in a redesigned 3D-style cluster, have been incorporated with dynamic turn indicators.

Other than that, exclusive for the Signature and Signature Plus variants only, is an electric panoramic sunroof, which adds a premium touch while enhancing the interior cabin’s ambience.

Moreover, inside of the new Koleos, a generous ergonomically designed space with meticulous attention to detail in the panels and finishing can be found.

On that note, it comes bearing with two fresh interior styles. The Koleos variant comes with an elegant black Riviera leather upholstery with dark striped wood trim while the Signature and Signature Plus trims come with a new Sand Grey Nappa leather upholstery with natural grain Grey wood trim.

However, for the Signature and Signature Plus variants, it is equipped with a suite of luxury features including ventilated front seats with cushion length adjust and wide Relax headrests. Also, on the driver’s side, it comes with massage and memory seat configurations.

Moving over to the convenience aspect, all the new Koleos variants are now fitted with a hands-free powered tailgate. 

Technology wise, on the dash of the new Koleos can be seen fitted with a customisable 8.7-inch portrait touchscreen infotainment system. The system supports an R-LINK2 navigation function and also the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Like all Renault mainstream vehicles, the new Koleos comes with a 5-year manufacturer warranty with 150,000 km mileage.
