From what we can deduce based on the page’s initial wave of content and the user profiles following it, this appears to be legitimate effort indeed.Naturally, at this stage, details are scant, and the folks over at <a rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.carz.com.my/2025/07/chery-malaysia-pledges-rm50000-to-national-sports-trust-fund" target="_blank">Chery Auto Malaysia</a> naturally remain tight-lipped about the effort.  The MEX II Highway, once planned as a major traffic solution for Klang Valley, has remained unfinished since 2019. Now,<a rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.carz.com.my/2025/05/govt-moves-to-revive-delayed-mex-ii-project" target="_blank" style=""> the government is working with bondholders to revive the project and get construction moving again.</a><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:Arial,sans-serif;color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-weight:400;font-style:normal;font-variant:normal;text-decoration:none;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre;white-space:pre-wrap;">Talks are currently underway between federal agencies and the Receivers and Managers appointed by the project's sukuk holders, who took over after the original concession company defaulted in early 2022. <span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:Arial,sans-serif;color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-weight:400;font-style:normal;font-variant:normal;text-decoration:none;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre;white-space:pre-wrap;">The focus now is on finding a financially and technically viable path to completion.<span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:Arial,sans-serif;color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-weight:400;font-style:normal;font-variant:normal;text-decoration:none;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre;white-space:pre-wrap;">Works Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi said the discussions are centred on four key areas; updated construction costs, cash flow projections, long-term toll revenue, and traffic analysis. <span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:Arial,sans-serif;color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-weight:400;font-style:normal;font-variant:normal;text-decoration:none;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre;white-space:pre-wrap;">These factors, according to him, will help determine whether the highway can still deliver value to motorists and investors alike.

Originally set to be completed in December 2019, the 18-kilometre extension was designed to ease congestion on the existing MEX Expressway. <span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:Arial,sans-serif;color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-weight:400;font-style:normal;font-variant:normal;text-decoration:none;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre;white-space:pre-wrap;">However, prolonged cash flow issues halted the work. Klang’s open-top Hop-On Hop-Off bus service is set to begin in mid-August, giving tourists a fresh way to explore the royal town’s historic and cultural landmarks.The 40-seater double-decker bus will travel through south Klang’s heritage zone and extend to the mangrove areas of Port Klang, according to The Star.Along the route, riders can enjoy views of Istana Alam Shah, Little India, the Sultan Abdul Aziz Royal Gallery, the Gothic-style Our Lady of Lourdes Church, and Gedung Raja Abdullah.“The bus is meant for visitors to enjoy Klang at a slower pace, with the flexibility to hop on and off as they explore,” said Tourism Selangor Promosi Sdn Bhd operations manager Arshad Mustapa in the The Star's report.The service, run by LNH Tour and Transport Sdn Bhd under an annual permit, was initially planned to start in February. However, the launch was delayed due to <a rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.carz.com.my/2025/07/singapores-driverless-bus-cleared-to-run-without-safety-officer" target="_blank">pending approval from the Land Public Transport Agency (Apad).</a>

“Apad is very strict on safety and compliance, and we couldn’t proceed without their green light,” Arshad said.He added that a letter of support has since been issued by the Tourism, Arts and Culture Ministry, and the company has submitted all required documents to Apad.
