Drug Addict Tries To Carjack A Vehicle With Child Inside!

Are you a parent who always leaves your child in the car even for a moment because you want to go to the store for a while?

Never leave children in your vehicle unattended! Take note from the case of a 12-year-old girl in Lumut, Perak who was abducted by a drug addict because she was left alone in a car (Perodua Bezza).

The victim's mother allegedly left her child in the car with the engine and air conditioning turned on while the vehicle was not locked before the woman went down to buy goods at a pet store.

Feeling unsettled, the woman sent a message to her child while in the premises but the message was not answered.

The woman immediately left the shop and was shocked to find an unknown man fleeing the car with her daughter inside.

Fortunately, the suspect was arrested with the help of the public and the child was left unharmed. 

Manjung District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Nor Omar Sappi confirmed the incident.

"The 24 -year -old suspect was arrested and the initial urine test found that the suspect was positive for methamphetamine," he said.

The case is being investigated under Section 363 of the Penal Code.

The public is asked to take this case as a lesson and not to repeat such an act, as it can not only cause injury but can take the life of your child!

Even if you get out of the car for only a few seconds, never leave your child in the car unattended.

If it wasn’t for the case of a child dying in a car, a case of theft like this could have happened!
