SF90 Spider: Ferrari’s Powerful Series Production Supercar Lands in Malaysia!
The official importer and distributor of the Ferrari brand in Malaysia, Naza Italia has revealed the spider version of the SF90 Stradale, the SF90 Spider.

As Ferrari's first production plug-in hybrid spider, the SF90 Spider features the same supercar specification and performance as its predecessor but adds on greater driving pleasure and versatility for its users.
“The Ferrari SF90 Spider, like the SF90 Stradale it’s designed after, is a dynamic performer and whilst it retains the overall look and feel of its successor, the spider version further impresses with new stylistic, aerodynamic and technical features that set new benchmarks for performance, innovation and quality of drive for extreme supercars. We know it will offer our clients’ an incredibly rewarding driving experience which fulfils their automotive desires and we are thrilled to present this to the local market,“ said Naza Corporation Holdings Sdn Bhd. Automotive Group chief executive officer, Dato’ Nik Hamdam Nik Hassan.
The plug-in hybrid features a V8 turbo ICE with two electric motors integrated at the front which comprises the RAC-e (Cornering Angle Regulator, Electric) system and the MGUK (Motor Generator Unit, Kinetic). Included is also the 8-speed DCT with E-diff which allows the car to produce a maximum of 986 hp (1,000 cv).

Divided into two main areas, the power flow of the SF90 Spider’s hybrid system consists of Power Delivery, which consists of electric mode, hybrid mode and 4WD hybrid mode as well as Energy Recovery, which manages the hybrid’s system control logic.
In terms of design, the sides, front and tail of the SF90 Spider features the same distinctive style as its predecessor when the RHT is deployed. The front spots three air intakes alongside matrix LED headlamps technology, alongside a lowered centre of gravity when the roof is absent. The rear is dominated by high exhaust pipes and elongated luminous rings around the tail lamps which break away from the iconic round shape used for Ferrari’s vehicles.

Interior-wise, the cabin features a complete redesign of the HMI, with the digital screens turning pitch black when the car is not running. With a 16-inch HD instrument cluster screen, with the navigation screen on one side of the rev counter and audio controls on the other. A head-up display is also seen, alongside additional touch commands for the steering wheel ensuring convenience and accessibility for the driver.

Four drive modes are available for the driver - eDrive, Hybrid, Performance and Quality which offers an efficient driving experience catered to any road conditions.
The development of the new eSSC (electronic Side Slip Control) showcases three dynamic regulation and distribution strategies for engine torque to all four wheels, namely the Electronic Traction Control (eTC), torque vectoring as well as Brake-by-wire control with ABD/EBD.
Available across the entire range, an extended seven-year maintenance programme is offered with SF90 Spider. An exclusive scheduled maintenance programme is available to owners or pre-owned Ferraris as well as the Genuine Maintenance Programme which further extend the after-sales services.
The plug-in hybrid, SF90 Spider will be available from the base price of RM2.09 million. Note that the price excludes duties, customization options, taxes and insurance.
