Outstanding expressive proportions and rich sensual styling, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia presents the new and ever desirable E-Class Coupe.

It is the latest addition to the Mercedes-Benz dream cars collection and the E 300 AMG Line Coupe signifies the brand’s pioneering tradition with a new iconic look and intuitive new technology.

Under the hood, the E 300 AMG Line Coupe harbours a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine that churns 190 kW (258 hp) of power at 5,500 to 6,100 rpm and 370 Nm of torque at 1,800 to 4,000 rpm.

The mill is paired to a 9G-TRONIC transmission and that aids the E-Class Coupe to dash from a standstill to 100 km/h in just 6.4 seconds while hitting a top speed of 250 km/h.

Furthermore, its driving dynamics has received enhancements in terms of a Dynamic Select drive mode and Agility Control suspension, which offers an optimum ride comfort and driving stability.

Exterior wise, the E 300 AMG Line Coupe exudes a classic outlook with a modern twist. It sports a seductive design courtesy of the AMG Line treatment.

Said equipment includes the signature AMG styling for front and rear spoiler, diamond-block radiator grille with pins in chrome and a set of 19-inch AMG five-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels.

Illumination wise, the highlight can be seen on its muscular rear end, which gets fitted with newly redesigned two-piece tail lights.

Also notable, it is further equipped with Multibeam LED for the headlights that offers brighter and more natural lighting at night. 

Speaking of which, the Adaptive High beam Assist Plus function controls the LEDs by switching between low, partial main beam and main beam automatically.

Completing the E-Class Coupe are the exterior hues, e.g., Polar White, Obsidian Black, Rubellite Red, Graphite Grey, Mojave Silver, Brilliant Blue, High-tech Silver, Emerald Green and Selenite Grey. 

Besides that, also available for an additional cost are the designo diamond white bright and designo patagonia red metallic.

Diving inside, the E-Class Coupe’s interior blends contemporary style with sporty luxury well and it is the only pillarless coupe in its segment.

Features an interior with lines that have a clear definition, the upper section of the dash appears to hover and it rests on generously balanced trim elements that flow through into the doors. 

Decked with high-quality materials, the AMG Line interior gets finished in an open-pore black ash wood trims, dashboard and door beltlines in Artico leather, and steering wheel in Nappa leather.

Touching on the latter, the new intelligent steering wheel gets the control surface finished in high-gloss black while the trim elements and surrounds have a silver shadow finish.

Moreover, the new Mercedes-Benz E 300 AMG Line Coupe is equipped with the latest generation MBUX multimedia System (NTG 6) that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto,

The setup comes in dual 12.3-inch, high resolution displays, creating a widescreen cockpit, which is paired to the Burmester surround sound system to complete the cabin atmosphere.

Other luxurious features include a panoramic sliding sunroof, ambient lighting with 64 colours, Thermotronic automatic three-zone climate control, hands-free access and keyless-go function.

Safety technology wise, the new Mercedes-Benz E 300 AMG Line Coupe has the latest generation of Mercedes-Benz driving assistance systems providing cooperative support to drivers. 

This results in a high level of active safety. The hands-off detection feature of the steering wheel now works on a capacitive basis, enhancing user-friendliness driving in semi-automated mode.

Apart from that, it is also equipped with Driving Assistance package, which includes Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC, Active Steering Assist, Active Brake Assist, Evasive Steering Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist, Active Blind Spot Assist and PRE-SAFE Plus.
