Unveiled: The 2022 Honda Civic Hatchback Has Landed!
Not long ago, Honda Motor Co., Ltd. has unveiled the all-new Civic Hatchback on its online world premiere. The redesigned hatch, which is expected to go on sale this autumn, will provide a broader range of options and significant enhancements and additions.

Additionally, Honda has also revealed that its hybrid versions - the e:Hev, Honda’s original 2-motor hybrid system, and the Civic Type R will begin sales in 2022.
The Civic Hatchback was built on the emphasis on comfort and dynamics. The exterior is designed for extensive frontal visibility, along with the adoption of thin LED headlamps and a honeycomb grille. The “low & wide” body allows for a better stance of the hatch, resulting in increased stability and performance.
Interior-wise, the Civic Hatch strives to offer an all-around pleasant driving experience, focusing on a large opening area and a noiseless appearance. The cabin exudes a sleek and minimal look, thanks to the interior layout and a combination of soft-touch materials.
In terms of dynamics, the all-new hatch offers a sporty and integrated steering system to ensure full control in any driving situation. Two engine options are up for grabs: a continuously variable transmission (CVT) or a 6-speed manual transmission (6MT), allowing for an advanced “joy of driving” - in line with their “Fun to Ride” goals.

Fitted in the Civic Hatchback is the latest Honda SENSING suite of advanced safety and driver-assistive technologies, alongside a front wide camera and a high-speed image processing chip. The suite also features the Traffic Jam Assist, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Evasive Steering Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, Front Departure Alert and Adaptive Driving Beam.
The Honda Civic Hatchback is expected to begin sales in August, starting in Japan. More announcements are also likely to surface in the same month.
