Honda Malaysia has unveiled the “I’m Vaccinated Campaign - providing customers and associates with extra confidence and safety assurance at Honda dealerships nationwide. Announced yesterday, the company is committed to ensuring their associates are vaccinated in a timely manner.
It is reported approximately 80 percent of the overall associates are fully vaccinated and only those who are fully vaccinated are allowed to be on duty, with ‘I Am Fully Vaccinated’ badges to be worn. The company aims to complete the full vaccination of their associates by October this year.
“We believe this initiative can help to boost customer confidence during interactions with Honda dealer associates by showing that we are ready to meet and serve the customers in a safe environment as well as providing them peace of mind while being present at the dealerships. We also hope to encourage more people to get vaccinated, in addition to adhering to the SOPs at all times. Through this effort, it will not only protect themselves, but also to help the country to achieve its herd immunity as soon as possible,”said Honda Malaysia managing director and chief executive officer Ms. Madoka Chujo.
In conjunction with the resumption of sales activity, Honda Malaysia has initiated the “Government Staff Program” - which offers Government employees and their spouses discounts worth up to RM1,000 along with monthly promotions for the Honda Jazz and BR-V. Valid from September 1 to October 31, interested customers will be required to provide a copy of their employment letter and employee identity card for verification purposes.
A September Special Benefits promotion was also introduced as part of the Malaysia Day celebration, which offers rewards of up to RM6,000 for the whole month of September.
Honda Malaysia states that they will continue to monitor the current situation and the Government’s announcement regarding the COVID-19 countermeasures. To safeguard those around them and themselves, the company encourages everyone to continue to adhere to the SOPs when at dealerships.
