Motorcyclist Hit An Officer On Duty Along Kesas Highway

A traffic police officer was hit by a motorcycle while manning the traffic along Lebuh Raya Shah Alam (Kesas) towards the Persiaran Kewajipan, Subang Jaya yesterday. 

In the incident, the motorcyclist was seen to exit the nearby junction before making an attempt to change lanes without paying attention to the traffic ahead. 

As a consequence, he hit the officer who at that time, was standing beside his motorcycle before falling down on the road. 

Nevertheless, the traffic police officer survived the incident because other road users managed to slow down their vehicles at that time. 

The dashcam footage of the incident also went viral yesterday and sparked discussions among netizens on social media.

Subang Jaya district police chief Assistant Commissioner Abd Khalid Othman in his statement said that the officer decided not to prolong the issue and refused to lodge a report about the incident.
