2022 Perodua Myvi – All You Need To Know About The Variants
Syarikat Perusahaan Otomobil Kedua Sdn Bhd debuted the facelifted 2022 Perodua Myvi recently, with five variants offered, carrying its price tag starting from RM 45,700 to RM 58,800.




All prices mentioned are on-the-road, excluding insurance, and with the ongoing SST exemption that ends on June 30, 2022. Every Perodua Myvi is covered by five-year or 150,000km, whichever comes first warranty.
Perodua Myvi's newest variants available are 1.3 G (with PSDA), 1.3 G, 1.5 X, 1.5 H, and 1.5 AV, which consists of a new colour, Cranberry Red, unfortunately only available for the AV.
Engine-wise, 1.3-litre variants consist of 1NR-VE that produces 94 hp and 121 Nm of torque or the 1.5-litre 2NR-VE engine that generates 102 hp and 137 Nm of torque. It is mated to the new Dual Mode Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT).
With this latest gearbox, Perodua claims that the revamped Myvi has 5 percent lower fuel consumption than the previous one, which is 22.2 km/litre for the 1.3-litre variants and 21.1 km/litre for the 1.5-litre variants.
Myvi’s basic spec, the 1.3 G, comes in basic features with no added ASA and is geared towards the driver's fleet. Meanwhile, 1.3 G (with PSDA) is equipped with ASA.
The 1.3 G (with PSDA) variant comes with a Metallic silver front grille, black side mirrors, 14-inch alloys, ECO idle, Auto-Locking Doors, fabricated seats, Titanium Silver centre cluster, four airbags, LED headlights, Auto High Beam (AHB), Reverse Sensors, Lane Departure Warning and Lane Departure Prevention (LDP) and ASA (Advanced Safety Assist) 3.0.
Meanwhile, the 1.5 X variant is furnished with glossy silver air-con vent trim, door trim with silver finish, Bluetooth function, large rear speakers, audio and call steering buttons, and power mode steering buttons.
The 1.5 X variant is fitted with 15-inch alloy wheels, Auto LED headlamps with follow-me-home function, auto-folding and power-retractable side mirror.
As for 1.5 H and 1.5 AV variants, notably an upgraded front bumper that integrates DRLs (Daytime Running Lights) at the sides and a redesigned headlight, looks sportier with its black glossy front grille exclusive for the 1.5 H variant.

Caricarz discovers that the facelifted Perodua Myvi has a greater look on the interior, especially for the range-topping variant, where all seats covered with red accents are placed at air vents.

Coming off great with stylish front and rear skirts, the 1.5 – litre variant is completed with dual-tone 15-inch wheels, a multi-function leather steering wheel, and a push start entry button.
Also, 2022 facelifted Myvi is well-equipped with electrically auto-folding side mirrors combined with LED daytime running lights, auto on-off LED headlamps with follow-me-home and leaving-home functions.
The infotainment includes a 6.9-inch infotainment system with a SmartLink function along with four speakers. Also, the latest feature added is the Built-in Toll Reader.

The range-topping AV variant of the 2022 Perodua Myvi facelift gets an upgraded suite of ADAS, called the Perodua Smart Drive Assist (PSDA). This includes four assist features as ASA (Advanced Safety Assist), Driving Assist. Parking Assist and Headlamp Assist enabling Level 2 semi-autonomous driving.
Driving Assist also includes of Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Lane Departure Prevention (LDP), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Lane Keep Control (LKC), and Blind Spot Monitor (BSM) to help to identify and hit the brake in case any danger detected against other road drivers.


The range-topping variant, the AV, has set its price at RM 58,800. All prices mentioned are on-the-road, excluding insurance, and with the ongoing SST exemption that ends on June 30, 2022. Every Perodua Myvi is covered by five-year or 150,000km, whichever comes first warranty.
There’s also the Gear Up Kit available for upgrades, the features such as the Ace Seat Covers, LED Scuff Plate, Floor Lighting, Luggage Tray, Door Visors, Magnetic Sun Shaded, Coil Mats with Mesh Top, Perodua Care Seat, Wheel Lock Nut, Digital Video Recorder and GearUp Smart TPMS, are all available as an option.






On top of that, there are also two packages available: the Illumination Package that consists of LED Scuff Plate Floor Lighting, which costs RM450.00 in peninsular Malaysia and RM457.00 in East Malaysia. The Utility Package consists of Door Visor Luggage Tray Coil mats that cost RM360.00 and RM368.99, respectively, for peninsular and East Malaysia.
2022 Perodua facelift Myvi has brought its best game to all five variants with escalated pricing, better styling with new hues available, and, lastly, advanced safety features.
