Lexus Unveiled A Distinctive Lexus Vehicle You Can Imagine; A Hydrogen-Powered Recreational Off-Highway Vehicle (ROV)!
Lexus has unveiled a gorgeous, and we would say, the most distinctive Lexus vehicle you can imagine; A hydrogen-powered Recreational Off-Highway Vehicle (ROV).
It is luxurious side-by-side and even mimics offerings from Polaris and Can-Am with very upmarket paint.
While every carmaker in the world is battling to create a sustainable energy platform, Lexus is taking the competition to the next level by using the ROV concept to showcase its hydrogen technology.
The ROV’s 1.0-litre hydrogen engine works just like a standard gas engine but produces close to zero emissions. To provide utmost protection to the vehicle’s functional parts, Lexus utilises the suspension cover and its connection to the rear hydrogen fuel tank.
On the inside of the ROV, you will enjoy the whole Lexus experience, with niceties such as leather seats and automotive-style controls.
Nevertheless, pricing for the ROV would be complicated as the UTV market is pushing into price territories it had never before seen. But, we believe that the market for UTV is becoming more and more prevailing as it has been reported that Polaris managed to sell out its available RZRs with the price of $30,000-plus. Lexus could market this machine somewhere around the price or even higher.
