Petron Staffs & Dealers Aid Flood Victims

Due to flood cases in Selangor and Pahang, Petron initiated a donation drive through its volunteerism program Volunteerism In Action (VIA) to send relief efforts to the affected areas. 

Donation consists of cash worth RM27 000 and items such as clothes, footwear, and prayer robes to flood victims together with HOPE Community and Petron network of dealers.

“It was already a challenging year with the second wave of pandemic and business is just recovering when the worst flood in years hit us. The flood on December 18 was an unforgettable experience as our station was besieged in 8-feet height of water. said Petron dealer, Nurul Faidz Bin Zaid.

“We are just very thankful for the assistance during clean-up from the team of volunteers from Petron. We look forward to our customers returning to our service station soon,” he added.

Petron Johor dealers also came in to help and raised RM25 000 to benefited flood victims through Petron’s collaboration with MERCY MALAYSIA. 

“It was a collective effort of Petron Johor Dealers with the aim to help flood-affected victims get their lives back together, #unityovercomesallobstacles,” said Petron Johor dealers representer, Sharifah Shamini.
