Honda Malaysia Debuts The New Odyssey - Price Is From RM275,311.00
Honda Malaysia has announced the launch of the New Odyssey, a 7-seater Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV) in the Malaysian market. The New Odyssey is a Completely Built-Up (CBU) model from Japan costs RM275,311.00.
This new edition is available in three elegant and attractive colours, which are Platinum White Pearl, Premium Twinkle Black Pearl, and Super Platinum Metallic.
For the record, The Odyssey was first presented to the global market in 1994, and it was introduced to the Malaysian market in 2003, where it soon gained a reputation as a luxury 7-seater MPV. Honda Malaysia has sold around 2,000 Odysseys since its introduction.
Honda Malaysia Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Ms Madoka Chujo, said, “The introduction of the New Odyssey caters to the needs of customers such as families and executives who seek a luxury 7-seater MPV with excellent ride comfort, elegant exterior and unrivalled utility features, all in one package. In addition, the refined exterior and enhanced premium interior will further elevate the joy of owning a luxury Honda 7-seater MPV.”
The New Odyssey carries on the legacy of its predecessor, with a stunning exterior design. For a more beautiful appearance, the New Odyssey features a New Front Grille, New LED Headlights with Position Lights, and New Front Bumper Design. The new MPV's rear refinement includes a New Tail Light Design and a New Rear Bumper Design complementing the vehicle's overall design. New 17-inch Alloy Wheel Design, as well as Front and Rear Sequential Turn Signal Lights, round out the exterior features that set this MPV apart. Overall, the front and rear design of the New Odyssey has been revised, resulting in a broader and sharper commanding stance.
With premium enhancements, the exquisite outside look and feel spacious inside. The New Odyssey has a new dashboard design that includes a storage box for users' convenience. The New 7-inch TFT Meter and New 8-inch Advanced Display Audio are seamlessly integrated with the new dashboard design. The new 7-inch TFT Meter offers greater use and convenience while driving, as well as more detailed automobile information and safety support. Meanwhile, the New 8-inch Advanced Display Audio connection with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto allows the driver to stay connected while on the road with customised mobile apps.
The Odyssey is well-known for its spacious cabin, which provides comfort and adaptability, making it the ideal MPV for families and executives who want to travel in style. The New Odyssey has leather inside, with a Captain Cradle Seat and Ottoman in the second row for added comfort and luxury. The chairs may be folded forward and backwards, providing passengers with the ability to customise their seating arrangements to meet their demands. The New Odyssey now comes with various features to make life easier for owners. Hands-free Power Tailgate at the back with a kick motion under the rear bumper for easy access to its cargo without lifting the tailgate.
The New Odyssey is equipped with advanced safety features of Honda SENSING to give peace-of-mind to the driver and passengers. The Honda SENSING features in the New Odyssey are Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Lane Keep Assist System (LKAS), Road Departure Mitigation (RDM), Lane Departure Warning (LDW) and Auto High Beam (AHB).
To further support the safety features in the New Odyssey, Honda maintains features such as Multi-View Camera System with Smart Parking Assist, Blind Spot Information, and Cross Traffic Monitor.
