PDB 40TH AGM - Petronas AutoExpert to expand from 14 to 50 outlets by end of 2022
PETRONAS Dagangan Bhd (PDB) announced that it enclosed Profit After Tax (PAT) of RM531.2 million, almost double the previous year’s PAT of RM272.4 million, during its virtual 40th Annual General Meeting today.
PETRONAS declared a total dividend of 70 sen per ordinary share, representing 102 percent of the payout ratio.
The company also connected the dots with Mercedes-Benz Malaysia Sdn Bhd and EV Connection Sdn Bhd to install its own branded fast EV charger, Energise by PETRONAS, at five PETRONAS stations along major highways this year.
Apart from that, the Gas PETRONAS mobile app extended its coverage to over 300 locations within Klang Valley for those opting for hassle-free solutions.
The Lubricant business recorded a 23 percent volume growth in its B2B segment, contributed mainly by the plantation, transportation, and marine sectors.
Leveraging its own branded automotive workshop, PETRONAS AutoExpert is expanding through e-commerce platforms such as Lazada and Shopee.
The initiative has further strengthened PETRONAS' key products, Syntium and Sprinta. In addition, the company aims to widen its network of PETRONAS AutoExpert from 14 to 50 outlets by the end of 2022.
