Mercedes-Benz GLC 300e Coupe 2022 Unveiled in Malaysia, Price RM374K
Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has revealed the new Mercedes-Benz GLC 300e Coupe tagging its price at RM 374,074 on the road with SST exemption or RM 398,888 once the SST exemption expires on June 30.

Let's start with the engine!
The Mercedes-Benz GLC 300e Coupe is powered by a 2L turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol engine with an output of 211 hp/350 Nm, along with a 122 hp/440 Nm electric motor. The combination of the two gives the car an output of 320 hp/700 Nm.

Power is channelled to a 4MATIC four -wheel drive system with a nine -speed auto transmission (AT). The model can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in just 5.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 230 km/h. However, EV mode puts a limitation to a top speed of 140 km/h.

Looking at the interior, the Mercedes-Benz GLC 300e Coupe receives an AMG Line touch with leather upholstery as well as a wood ash black center console.
The car’s sports steering wheel is adorned with Nappa leather wrap. On top of that, the space includes AMG rugs, a 12.3-inch fully digital instrument cluster, Artico leather-wrapped seats, Thermatic dual-zone air conditioning and ambient lighting.

For entertainment, this variant is equipped with a 10.25 -inch infotainment unit that uses the MBUX operating system and Burmester surround audio system.
For safety, Mercedes-Benz GLC 300e Coupe comes with route tracking package, blind spot assistance, active lane stay assistance, active brake assistance, parking package with 360-degree camera, active parking assistance with PARKTRONIC, URBAN GUARD vehicle protection, anti-theft alarm system, internal monitoring system, knee bag, PRE-SAFE® system and tire pressure monitoring system.

According to Mercedes-Benz vice president sales and marketing, Michael Jopp mentioned that Mercedes-Benz has a very strong image in the SUV segment currently in Malaysia.
As a plug-in hybrid, the GLC 300 e 4MATIC Coupé offers customers the best in all aspects as they move towards a sustainable future.
‘’We are proud to introduce this locally assembled (CKD) variant. This model is now more efficient, as it can restore energy while being braked, allowing the combustion engine to move at the desired operating distance” he added.
