The Highly Anticipated HR-V RS: Equipped With e: HEV Technology
Honda Malaysia has announced the All-New HR-V has set to be premiered in Q3 2022 and will be available in hybrid and petrol variants.
The body measurement covered at 4,385mm in length, 1,790mm in width and 1,590mm in height. Also, the All-New HR-V RS is 39mm longer and 15mm shorter compared to its predecessor.
Looking at the exterior, the New Front Grille display a fastback styling with a sleek design.

Other key stylish exterior also includes New LED Headlights with Daytime Running Lights (DRL), and Front LED Fog Lights.
On top of that, the All-New HR-V RS is adorned with Front LED Sequential Turn Signals and LED Taillight Strip which amplifies the sporty vibes of its bodyshell.
Riding on an 18-inch wheels, the All-New HR-V RS is equipped with e: HEV technology which is powered by the intelligent Multi-Mode Drive (i-MMD) system that generates 130HP (131PS) and 253Nm of torque power.
Offering 3 drive modes; ECON, Normal and Sport, the e: HEV technology features Honda’s unique hybrid system that fusing the uses of petrol engine and electric motors to deliver maximum power and fuel efficiency.
The All-New HR-V RS comes with advanced features such as:
- Honda Lane Watch
- Hands-Free Power Tailgate with Walk Away Close function,
- Remote Engine Start and Walk Away Auto Lock functions
In pursuit of Honda’s global goal to realise zero traffic collision, the All-New HR-V RS comes with Honda SENSING, the most complete package of Next Generation Advanced Safety Technology.
Its suite of advanced driver assistance safety systems includes:
- Lead Car Departure Notification (LCDN)
- Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)
- Low Speed Follow (LSF)
- Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS)
- Forward Collision Warning (FCW)
- Lane Keep Assist System (LKAS)
- Road Departure Mitigation (RDM)
- Lane Departure Warning (LDW)
- Auto High Beam (AHB)
Honda Malaysia managing director and chief executive officer, Mr. Hironobu Yoshimura said, “The HR-V was first introduced to the Malaysian market in 2015, and it became a best-selling as well as a sensational model.
“Therefore, we are excited to be introducing the All-New HR-V in Malaysia, which is now officially open for bookings,” he commented.
