NIO ET7, First Electric Sedan to Hit German Market in Q422
In conjunction with NIO’s expansion plan to enter EU market, the Chinese juggernaut’s affirms Germany as its first country to make an appearance due fourth quarter of the year.
Aside from that, the company’s founder, William Li claimed to build ultra-fast charging piles with a capacity of 500 kW although already making plans to establish its first battery swapping stations in Berlin and Munich.
ET7 electric sedan will be pioneering the first model to become available in Germany starting from the fourth quarter of 2022.
The starting price might vary from RM 255,000,00 (388,000 RMB) which comes without a battery (BaaS) or RM 300,000,00 (458,000 RMB), respectively.

However, the price has not been confirmed yet.
Under the hood, the EV comprises of three batteries available as stated below.
- 70-75 kWh battery with 500-550 km range
- 100-kWh battery with a 700 km driving range
- 150-kWh battery capable of driving up to 1,000 km.

NIO ET7 is equipped with two electric motors churning out a combined output of 480 kW and a peak torque of 850 Nm.
In Norway, Nio has already embraced the ES8, bringing its NIO Life, Power Swap Station, and NIO House to the country in 2021.
