Recently announced, PRT Auto Parts (PRT) is now the first to supply over 380,000 Complete Strut Assemblies for SUV models in the Asian Market.
PRT or Performance Ride Technology is the North American brand of ADD, the largest exporter of aftermarket shocks, absorbers, struts and complete struts in the world.
This new development covers both front right and front left components for the Honda CR-V 2019 to 2022, and for the EX, EX-L, LX, and Touring models.
It also covers Jeep Cherokee front right and front left parts for the models Limited, Overland, and Altitude, among others.
For context, PRT Complete Strut Assemblies are built to replace the conventional suspension strut in a pre-assembled solution, saving up to 50% on repair time.
They are also uniquely designed to function in all weather conditions with smoother performance, durability and driving stability.
Each shock and strut are nitrogen-charged to eliminate aeration, improving its driving and handling performance.
Furthermore, the brand’s Twin Tube design includes nitrogen gas charging to keep the shock and strut cooler, as well as to extend its service life.
These units are made by PRT via the OE quality methods required by the automakers, including OEM quality components aiming to restore the car's original performance.
PRT’s director of global category and marketing, Bruno Bello, concluded, "These first-to-market applications reinforce our commitment to bringing innovative solutions to all our clients. As an OEM supplier, we are continually investing in research and development of new products for both OE Market and Aftermarket."
