Continental UltraContact UC7: Redefining Driving Confidence
Continental Tyres has launched its first Generation 7 product in Malaysia, the UltraContact UC7 which is an all-round tyre that prioritizes safety, exceptional noise comfort and long wear life. Continental believes that the UltraContact UC7 tyre would give its users better driving experience and confidence in line with its product tagline - “Driving Confidence, Redefined by Technology”.
Compared to the previous generation UltraContact UC6, the UltraContact UC7 is significantly reengineered for better braking and control in wet while improving its promise of being fuel efficient. Its dry braking and overall handling have also been enhanced made possible thru its Confidence+ Technology and “Diamond DNA”, – Diamond Compound, Noise Breaker 3.0 and Aqua Channel Advanced which combines the best compound and construction technology to create the ultimate tyre that does not compromise on safety, comfort, handling, or mileage.
Every tyre product hitting the market from Continental is subjected to multiple tests in order to ensure all highest standard set are met. Andrea Somorova, Managing Director of Continental Tyre Malaysia also added, “We take pride in our safety technologies that have been highly recognised for generations. With Vision Zero as our top priority, we strive to achieve zero accidents, zero injuries, and zero fatalities on the road”.
The UltraContact UC7, in development stages was subjected to 9500 hours and 850 type of test by a worldwide team of engineers simulating a combined distance of 12 times circling the earth. Bob Liu, Director of R&D Asia Pacific asserts, “We have put this tyre through rigorous rounds of testing to ensure we meet our own exacting standards and can deliver cutting-edge tyre technology to consumers. We will continue to do so as we further expand the portfolio to establish powerful, competitive offerings for the market.”
The Continental UltraContact UC7 would be made available for a wide range of vehicles be it, compact, mid-size cars, MPVs, or luxury sedan starting from 15” up to 18” in tyre fitments sizes. These latest offering from Continental ensures drivers on delivering quality in every aspect of their driving experience.
