Prasarana Malaysia Berhad has introduced the Mystery Shopper Programme (MSP) today which was also attended by Malaysian Transport Minister Wee Ka Siong.

According to Wee, the goal is ultimately to obtain responses from passengers who commute using Rapid bus and rail services on top of focusing on their experience that serves as a mechanism for better public transportation adoption in the nation.

The programme launched also provides MyRapid PULSE mobile app, which offers for both Android and iOS devices to send out their feedback regarding the public transportation services via the apps.

However, users should be aware that MyRapid PULSE App chooses to whom it will respond ‘’mysteriously’’ (hence, the name given) as the programme selects based on users random participation.

Furthermore, there will 147 train stations and bus hubs implemented across the country as an extension of the Readiness and Standby Audit Committee (AKSES) which highlights more on cleanliness, lighting, facilities, signage, lift and escalator condition as well as convenient access facilities.

The transport minister claims that the first AKSES review last year concluded that 74% of train stations were in good condition, with a score of 2.82 out of 3.

Due to public transportation nowadays experiencing several slack which is not new in Malaysia, the initiative brought by Rapid KL seeks to grow in any area of opportunities with the goal of bettering the country's bus and rail services which of course, our feedback is part of the execution.

The website states that PULSE is a mobile application designed to help commuters using public transportation in the Klang Valley, Penang, and Kuantan which assists users to plan their journeys along the Rapid KL, Rapid Penang, and Rapid Kuantan routes and networks.

Currently, the app covers the MRT, LRT, KL Monorail, Sunway BRT, buses operated by Rapid Penang, Rapid Kuantan, and Rapid KL, as well as MRT feeder buses.
