GENTARI, which officially launched recently has inked an agreement with PETRONAS Refinery and Petrochemical Corporation Sdn Bhd to introduce a zero-emissions vehicle fleet supported by EV charging points.

More than that, the collaboration sees a potential for hydrogen fuel cell vehicles production at the Pengerang Integrated Complex having a 4 MWp rooftop solar installation built while another 40 MWp ground-mounted solar installation is currently being commissioned.

Pengerang Integrated Complex recognized as one of the region's largest integrated petrochemical facilities.

Previously, GENTARI has embarked on a series of initiatives and collaborations in its mission to rank among the world's leading clean energy companies.

To achieve GENTARI's Green Mobility commitments in supporting the electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem, the company estimated 25,000 delivery of public charging points across key markets in Asia Pacific by 2030 and a target of up to 9,000 public charging points by 2026, anchoring its presence in Malaysia and India.

Thanks to soyacincau, there are 12 locations spotted ahead across Peninsular Malaysia, including three DC stations along the North-South Highway and one on the East Coast Expressway (ECE)

With the recent addition of a 60kW DC fast charger at Suria KLCC, the mall now has a total of 27 charging bays, making it the largest EV charging hub in Malaysia, according to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

GENTARI intends to provide cost-competitive, low-carbon hydrogen fuel for domestic and export demand, with a goal of producing up to 1.2 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) by 2030, starting with projects in Kerteh, Terengganu, and Bintulu, Sarawak.

Over 190 charging points have been installed and delivered to more than 250 electric two-wheelers and three-wheelers as part of its green mobility fleet in India and Malaysia.
