2023 Honda Accord Teased, Will Feature A 12.3-inch Display and a Hybrid Powertrain

The D-segment is going to get much more exciting with the soon to be revealed 2023 Honda Accord. This is based off the teaser posted by Honda USA which confirms the design ques we highlighted back in July off some leaked patent images. However this time around the global powerhouse simply focused the tease on the new Accord’s 12.3-inch infotainment system which would be the largest ever to be fitted on a Honda model. The official debut of the Accord is set for this coming November.

Furthermore, the folks at Honda added that the new 2023 Accord would "bring excitement back to the midsize sedan segment" and "a more responsive and fun-to-drive hybrid powertrain”.
Based on the limited images made available in the tease, we can rest assured that the new Accord would be much sleeker and feature a minimalist approach in design. The front nose grille seems to carry a triangular pattern with the DRL’s placed above the slim headlights.

Back at the rear, a very clean design language is very prominent with a sleek tail light featuring LED light bars nearly covering the entire length of the rear separated just by the brand emblem.
As for the party piece, the 12.3-inch display, it is placed high up on the centre of the dash with what seems like a single toggle switch. In the display we are shown some of the functions available like the Google integration but here the power distribution visual takes precedence. This indicates some form of electrification would be present. In the Accord’s case a Hybrid powertrain.

However, the tease cuts short there with no mention of the powertrain specs. However, based on the current available hybrid option in the global accord model it could be the hybrid-assisted 2.0-liter four-cylinder with a total system output of 212 HP. We would just have to wait a little longer now for the full unveil next month.
