Meet Optimus, the TESLA Humanoid Robot

Tesla introduces a humanoid robot during its AI Day 2022 event. The robot functions as an assistant to perform tedious or dangerous jobs, including moving parts around Tesla factories as well as attaching a bolt to a car with a wrench.
Elon also claims that his robot business carries more value compared to its cars. More than that, Tesla needs to demonstrate its capability to work efficiently in the factory as it propagates over the past few years.
According to Musk, each Optimus unit would cost approximately RM 93 K ($20,000) which is powered by a 2.3 kWh battery pack, 28 structural actuators that transmits 52 volts.

Expected to go on sale by 2027, Elon shares its mission to begin producing many solid humanoid robots, whereas this time around at a faster pace.
Most of the body specimen is covered with green LEDs added with dual spinning fans to cool the processors on top of a large integrated computer screen.
Two prototypes were available, however, the second robot which weighs 73 kg is attached with a variation of the same computing hardware that powers Tesla’s autonomous vehicle technology or FSD.
Although the Optimus project is still in its early stages, the humanoid robot is considered advanced in the robotics world given how pervasive and capable Tesla is and its aptitude of technology.
However, the technological challenges and regulatory probes still exist in the making of Optimus humanoid robots.
