Special Edition Shell Motorsports Collection - Get Yours Now!

SHELL Malaysia has launched  its Special Edition Motorsport Remote Control Collection which will soon be offered at Shell stations across nationwide.

The Shell Motorsport Collection has a Smart Battery which is integrated with a Bluetooth chip within a rechargeable lithium cell, developed in a partnership with Brandbase and 12 holders such as Ferrari, BMW, Hyundai, Ford and Nissan. 

More interestingly, this small model comes with an electric engine to be controlled via a smartphone app instead of a regular remote control. Hence, users must download the Shell Racing application from the App Store or Google Play. 

Shell Motorsports Collection offers 7 models namely Ferrari 2790, BMW M4 Motorsport, Nissan Formula E Gen 2 Car, Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC, Shell V-Power Racing , Team Ford Mustang GT, Team Penske Indycar and Team Penske Ford Mustang GT.

If you’re wondering how to have these limited edition Shell Motorsport Remote Control Collection, there are three ways. 

1.Top up Shell V-Power Racing oil amounting to RM80 in one receipt to buy a box of Motorsport Collection at an additional price of RM80.

2. Fill up with a minimum of RM50 and buy a car model or Bluetooth smart battery separately for RM30.

3. Buy Shell Helix Lubricant 4L and receive an exclusive Ferrari SF90 racing car along with a smart battery for free.

To commerate the launch, Shell will be organizing two roadshows where during this event, the public can have a feel and experience 'real' racing in a specially designed race track that will be held at the following locations at KL Sentral from October 17 to 23 and at Mid Valley Megamall from 26th to 30th October.

What’s more exciting, visitors get to watch a replica of the Hyundai i20 WRC racing machine that won the World Rally Championship in Greece recently.
