This collaboration is an initiative part of the group’s recently launched We Drive Football campaign. Said campaign sees the brand’s effort in promoting unity, diversity and passion that are synonymous with footballing way of life.

“The Volkswagen Group has championed football initiatives all over the world for many years, from being the official mobility partner of EURO 2020, to partnering with the German Football Association (DFB).
“Football is in our DNA, and our partnership with Liga Suparimau not only is in line with our involvement in footballing history but is also a great way to be a part of the local football sphere, grow the dreams of young Malaysian boys and girls and perhaps, discover the next Malaysian star.
The ‘Goal of the Season’ competition will be participated by over 500 teams across 12 different categories, with a winner from each category will be selected by the end of the season.
