Defying Convention, the story of IONIQ 5

Defying Convention, the story of IONIQ 5
Established in August 2020, the Hyundai’s top notch BEV lineups have captured car enthusiasts' interests with its luxurious creation that consists of freshly developed features and modern styling appearance.
The South Korean car marque recently just launched a 10-minute documentary titled 'Defying Convention,' which sheds light on the reasons that contributed to the success journey of IONIQ portfolio brands, including the company's past, present, and future.
More than that, the company's exceptional success is underlined throughout the video, not by chance, but by a radical new strategy and original thinking.

When the company debuts the IONIQ 5, a fully electric midsize CUV, it gains a bevy of key global plaudits and a solid sales performance as showcased on numerous platforms.

Hyundai IONIQ 6, stylish electric sedan debut in UK
Meanwhile, the IONIQ 6 which was unveiled this year fitted Hyundai Motor's leadership in electrification and future transportation, which is perfectly aligned with the company's 'Progress for Humanity' goal.

We can see here that not only the IONIQ 5 and IONIQ 6 propel Hyundai into the future, but the N performance division will soon unveil its own version of the Ioniq 5. Furthermore, Hyundai is working on an all-new electric model called the Ioniq 7, which will be a huge SUV that will serve as an electric alternative to the three-row Palisade.
Quoting from President and CEO of Hyundai Motor Company Jay Chang, at Hyundai Motor, the company has relentlessly defied conventional ideas to embody innovation as their DNA.

‘’The documentary film ‘Defying convention’ represents everyone at Hyundai Motor who took part in making IONIQ a success story with a progressive mindset’’ he added.
The documentary can be viewed in its entirety on Hyundai's website, and a 5-minute clip has been uploaded to YouTube. Erin Baker, an automotive writer and World Car of the Year jury member, narrates the documentary, which includes interviews with Hyundai personnel, executives, and researchers who were instrumental in the development of the IONIQ 5.
It also explains how innovative technologies like the Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) and the Vehicle to Load (V2L), which have contributed to the IONIQ 5's success on a global scale, were developed.
