GE15: FREE Transport On 19 November To Ease Voters Travel
Prasarana Malaysia Berhad ("Prasarana"), the country's main rail and bus service operator, will offer free fares all day on Saturday, November 19, 2022, in conjunction with the nations 15th General Election.
This free fare applies to LRT, MRT, Monorail, BRT, and one-stop buses operated by Rapid KL, Rapid Penang, and Rapid Kuantan. This is a Malaysian company's initiative to make it easier for Malaysians to vote in order to fulfil their responsibilities and rights as citizens.
My50 users can use the pass as usual on that day. Users of the Touch 'n Go card can use the card for free. To obtain a special token for one-way travel, users must visit any Customer Service Counters at the LRT, MRT, Monorail, or BRT stations.
Users do not need to touch the card at the scanner when boarding or alighting from Rapid Bus services in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, and Kuantan (including MRT feeder buses).
This free fare initiative by Prasarana is to allow Malaysians to out and cast their votes easily, calmly, and safely.
