Prasarana Updates Peak Hour Operations For Ramadan
Prasarana has announced that the peak hours for its rail and bus services will be extended beginning today and continuing throughout the fasting month of Ramadan.
The Ramadan morning peak period for Rapid KL's LRT, MRT, and Monorail services is 6.30 to 9.30 a.m., which is a 30-minute extension of the original 7 to 9.30 a.m. The evening schedule has been extended by 1.5 hours, from 5 to 7.30 p.m. to 4 to 8 p.m.
Peak operating hours for Penang and Klang Valley rapid buses, including LRT/MRT feeder buses, are from 4 to 8 p.m. and 6.30 to 9.30 a.m. There has been no changes to Kuantan Rapid's peak hours.
LRT Pasar Seni, LRT Damai, and LRT Ampang Park train stations will host mini-Ramadan bazaars in conjunction with the month-long fast, according to PRIDE, a subsidiary of Prasarana. Additionally, there are existing bazaars that are open from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. at LRT Sri Rampai, LRT Taman Melati, and LRT Gombak.
