GWM Ora Good Cat Now Available In Pistachio Green Hue

2023MY GWM Ora Good Cat 500 Ultra now available in new 'Pistachio Green'.

The GWM Ora Good Cat all-electric (EV) hatchback, which launched locally with much fanfare llast year, has gained a striking new colour choice. As revealed by GWM Malaysia through Facebook, the new ‘Pistachio Green’ single-tone paintjob option is now available locally, albeit to a limited extent.

This shade of green is already offered in the Thai market, bringing a lighter and pastel-like appearance compared to the existing two-tone Verdant Green colourway. The same hue is mirrored on the body-coloured cabin trims and accents, offset with orange highlights and base beige interior.

The new Pistachio Green will be available in limited quantities, according to GWM Malaysia.

Take note, this colourway is only offered exclusively for the range-topping 500 Ultra variant of the GWM Ora Good Cat. We’ve also been told by insiders at GWM Malaysia that this special colour choice will come in limited quantities, so if you’re keen on this shade, you’d best place bookings fast.

One way you can both view this special colour in the flesh and perhaps place a booking for one is through a special roadshow that’s currently being conducted by authorised dealers G-Mart Group at Sunway Velocity Mall, Cheras, Kuala Lumpur.

Despite this special hue on offer, the Ultra 500 variant’s base price remain unchanged at RM169,800 sans insurance. In this spec, the Ora Good Cat packs a sizeable 63.1 kWh Ternary Lithium Battery type that juices a single front-mounted electric motor rated at 143 PS and 210 NM.

Key specs in this range-topper include 6-way power-adjustable driver seat with memory and massage function, automatic climate control with built-in PM 2.5 filtration system, 7-inch digital instrument display, as well as a 10.25-inch centre infotainment touchscreen offering Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Also standard is a bevy of active driver assist functions that grant Level 2+ semi-autonomous driving abilities. In terms of range and charging, the 500 Ultra variant promises up to 500 KM (NEDC) and DC rapid-charging compatibility that allows 0-80% charges in under 60 minutes.
