New BYD Extended After-Sales Service Packages Announced, Priced From RM1,688
Sime Darby BYD Motors announced two new after-sales service packages for BYD customers to opt-in.
To further boost long-term ownership experience for customers, BYD Sime Darby Motors have announced two brand new extended after-sales service packages for customers to opt-in. Two choices were introduced, those being the Service Standard Package and the Service Plus Package.
Starting with the Service Standard Package, it is available in 3-year or 60,000 KM, 6-year or 120,000 KM, and 8-year or 180,000 KM coverage spans. Included in this package are reducer oil service, air conditioning filter replacements, brake fluid service, drive motor coolant service, and air-cond refrigerant service.
As for price, the Service Standard Package commands between RM1,688 to RM4,888.
These new service packages cover at least three years or 60,000 KM and are priced from RM1,688 onwards.
Next to this comes the Service Plus Package choice that’s available either across a 6-year or 120,00 KM or 8-year or 160,000 KM coverage spans. This package includes additional services like windscreen washer fluid replacement, wiper blades replacement (front and rear), remote control battery replacement, 12-volt battery replacement, as well as both brake pads and rotors replacements (front and rear).
As for price, the Service Plus Package covering a 6-year or 120,000 KM span is tagged at RM7,888, whereas the longer 8-year or 160,000 KM coverage option commands RM12,888 instead.
“We are pleased to announce the new launch of service package to ensure our strong commitment to provide peace of mind service in all aspects to all BYD owners in Malaysia,” said Jeffrey Gan, Managing Director of Sime Darby Motors Retail & Distribution Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, and Macau.
BYD Side Darby Motors also highlight it now has three authorised B&P centres operational in Penang, Bukit Jelutong, and JB.
Besides these new after-sales service package, BYD Sime Darby Motors were also keen to highlight the presence of three authorised Body & Paint (B&P) centres the firm operates. Theses centres are strategically located in Penang, Bukit Jelutong, and Johor Bahru.
Additionally, all three are authorised B&P centres mentioned are authorised by insurance panels to offer dedicated care for minor and major body repairs. These facilities are also supported by advanced mechanical and painting bays as well.
With its after-sales bolstered, the BYD Atto 3 might now stand as an even more tempting offering.
“After-sales service is a core component of our value chain. Sime Darby Motors has the highest standard of body & paint centers that are approved by insurance panel, strategically located in Penang, Klang Valley and Johor Bahru,” added Gan about these dedicated B&P centres.
