Aston Martin DBS 770 Ultimate Teased As Model’s ‘Swansong’
Aston Martin is set to phase out its current DBS grand tourer model, but it won’t go quietly as proven by the latest teaser released by the Gaydon-based supercar brand. Dubbed the DBS 770 Ultimate, it will stand as the swansong for the brand’s modern DBS line with a limited production run as well.

From the teaser, it’s easy to see that the DBS 770 Ultimate will retain much of what’s already seen in the DBS Superleggera it underpins, albeit with a number of special aesthetic touches to set this special apart. Amongst them will be what appears to be a special set of alloy wheels too.
Crucially, the DBS 770 Ultimate will be primed with a peppier version of Aston Martin’s current signature 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 mill. As the name aptly suggests, it promises up to 770 PS, or 760 HP, at the very least, marking a 45 HP improvement over the DBS Superleggera base car’s output.

What will likely be retained too is the 8-speed ZF automatic transmission this mill is exclusively paired with in the DBS Superleggera base car – as well as the DB11 V12 model. Furthermore, the enhanced power output is set to get matched with a “re-engineered” and “sharpened” chassis setup too.
Reports online also indicate that Aston Martin will produce just 499 examples of the DBS 770 Ultimate, though the price for each wasn’t mentioned just yet. That, as well as other details surrounding what Aston Martin dubs as a “final edition flagship” will be known during its reveal, which also stands unknown presently.
