Finance (MOF) has announced the retail prices of all fuels in Malaysia for the
coming week of February 9 to 15, 2023 would remain unchanged.Premium RON 97
sees no changes at RM3.35 per litre, as does regular RON 95 when it continues
to retail at its ceiling price of RM2.05 per litre which set by the government
back in February 2021. On to the
diesel blends, all three also see no changes for the second week of February
2023. As for Euro5 B10 and B20 blends, it remains at RM 2.15 per litre, whilst
Euro 5 B7 resumes with the same RM2.35 per litre figure as it did for the past two week.







As usual, these
prices take effect from midnight tonight until the next price announcement from
the Ministry next Wednesday – Feb 15, 2023.

"They're also crafty, during APAD enforcement operations, these buses are kept off the road temporarily to avoid detection for operating under permits belonging to other companies.

"That's why sometimes you'll see one company name on the bus body and another on the permit," he says,  urging the government to take firmer and more drastic action against bus operators using leased permits.

Notably, the tyre failure rate for the entire month of May was 1.1%.

“Adhering to these standards not only helps safeguard the safety of vehicle owners and other road users, but also contributes significantly to reducing road accidents,” it says.

“The failure rate for inspection at our centres now average 23%, against a high of 39% in the first two months of the year.“This reflects a more cautious and careful approach by vehicle owners, which is positive news for us,” said <a rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.carz.com.my/2025/02/inspections-strictly-follow-guidelines-set-by-jpj-puspakom" target="_blank" style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; white-space-collapse: preserve;">Puspakom CEO Mahmood Razak Bahman</a>, adding this trend likely indicates increased vehicle owner caution through better maintenance.

If a repossessor uses oppressive tactics or violates your rights in any way during the process, you should file a complaint with the bank that initiated the repossession. You can also escalate the matter to the Association of Hire Purchase Companies Malaysia for support and further action.

In an industry long dominated by men, 39-year-old Irzunika Idris from Batu Gajah has been making a living as a<a rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.carz.com.my/2024/07/volvo-trucks-malaysia-miros-hosts-advanced-driver-development-programme" target="_blank" style=""> trailer driver</a> for the past five years, ever since becoming a single mother of three.
When asked why she chose such a demanding and unconventional path, Irzunika shared that she genuinely enjoys the work and most importantly, she needs to support her children.

Her passion for driving began early, inspired by her late father who was also a lorry driver. Watching him work sparked a lifelong ambition to follow in his footsteps, even though she knew it wouldn’t be an easy road.

After her divorce in 2019, she took on the job to support her family, fully aware of the challenges it would bring.
