According to Prasarana Malaysia Bhd, work on Phase 2 of the Putrajaya Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Line is more than 95% complete, with a final test scheduled for the end of this month. Mohd Azharuddin Mat Sah, president and group chief executive officer, verified that work to complete the project is being actively carried out through tests by MRT Corp Sdn Bhd officers and engineers, contractors, and the Land Public Transport Agency.

"They are monitoring the tests to ensure that they pass the stipulated guidelines, and, InsyaAllah, it can be operational by March, though the date will be announced by the government," he said. He made the remarks following a visit to Menara UOA Bangsar on Tuesday by a delegation from the Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama), led by its chief executive officer Roslan Ariffin.

Mohd Azharuddin, commenting on the visit, said it had prompted collaboration between Bernama and Prasarana to publicise and inform the public about the latest issues concerning the public transportation system.

"This is a comprehensive collaboration in terms of making suggestions and providing information to reporters, digital radio, and television. This is also the first time we have formed a comprehensive partnership with the media," he added. He explained that during his visit, he had received several proposals for improving the land public transportation system in the city.
