New Sime Darby Volvo 3S Centre Opens In Setia Alam
Volvo Car Malaysia (VCM) saw its nationwide network expanded earlier today following the official opening of a new Volvo 3S centre located in Setia Alam, Shah Alam.
Operated by dealers Sime Darby Swedish Auto, it stands as the firm’s second 3S outlet next to its first located in Sime Darby Motors City, Ara Damansara.
The new Volvo Setia Alam 3S centre occupies a total built-up space of 23,000 square feet and features the current Volvo corporate identity (CI). Known as the Volvo Retail Experience (VRE), it employs Scandinavian-inspired aesthetic design cues and elements that the Volvo marque is renowned for.
At the heart of the new Volvo Setia Alam 3S centre is its full-fledge offering of sales, service, plus body and paint repair under one roof. The latter fact stems from the centre’s status as a Volvo Certified Damage Repair Centre as well.
Beyond that, the centre houses a sizeable vehicle showroom space with up to 13 parking lots available for visitors, whereas its service area features both 2 active and 1 offline bays.
Additionally, the outlet is also brimmed with state-of-the-art tech that includes four 22 KW AC charging bays for electric vehicles on its premises. There’s also plans for the centre to incorporate solar energy technology in the near future.
“We are pleased to continue bringing Malaysians the best in Swedish design and engineering with the opening on this latest Volvo dealership,” expressed Jeffrey Gan, MD, Retail and Distribution of Sime Darby Motors Malaysia during the centre’s opening earlier.
Present too was VCM’s MD Charles Frump who adds, “We are pleased to reinforce our partnership with Sime Darby Swedish Auto with the opening of the Setia Alam dealership and we look forward to forging a stronger collaboration.”
Situated at No 3, Jalan Setia Alam Murni, U13/AH, Seksyen U13, 40170 Shah Alam, the new Volvo Setia Alam 3S Centre operates daily from 8:30AM to 6:00PM. More details are available online via swedishauto.com.my, volvocars.com/my/find-a-dealer, or by calling 03-5870 1188.
