Six Roads & Intersections Closed Off For Thaipusam At Batu Caves 2-8 Feb 2023
Ahead of the upcoming annual Thaipusam Festival at Batu Caves this coming Sunday, 5 Feb 2023, the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) has announced six road and intersection closures around the Gombak vicinity.
The closures would happen from 2 to 8 Feb, involving the below mentioned locations:
Kg Melayu-Batu Caves Traffic Light;
Slip road from MRR2 to Batu Caves Temple;
Jalan Perusahaan heading to Batu Caves Temple;
MRR2 slip road from Sri Gombak to Susur Perusahaan
The intersection of Jalan SBC 8 / Jalan Batu Caves Lama
Sri Batu Caves (SBC) T-junction Traffic Lights in front of the Shell Petrol Station
All road users are strictly advised to avoid using the above mentioned roads and intersections and plan their journey using alternative roads available. The public is also advised to use public transports when possible as KTMB has also announced 24HRS train service for the Thaipusam Festival.
