DBKL Free Shuttle Van For Pusat Bandar Damansara Workers To MRT Station

DBKL is now providing free shuttle vans from DC Mall to the MRT Pusat Bandar Damansara station during rush hours, which are 7.30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. It began yesterday, with KL mayor Datuk Seri Hj Mahadi Che Ngah inspecting the service. Previously, pedestrians were seen endangering themselves and other motorists by walking on the highway near the MRT Pusat Bandar Damansara area, where the Petron station is, at the Damansara Link.

This is because of the extensive construction in the area, which has caused significant disruption to residents of Bangsar and Damansara Heights, as well as motorists who use the road from PJ to KL and back.

For those working in PBD, the MRT station is both close and far, with no physical connection. People have to walk through a construction site twice a day. And the companies in charge of all that construction never bothered to build a pedestrian walkway, which is why you see them sharing lanes with cars.

According to City Hall, the free shuttle van service between the DC Mall and the MRT will continue until the contractor installs a temporary pedestrian walkway at the end of March.
