The Kajang 2 station, according to the RAC, will have 500 parking spaces, accessibility features for people with disabilities, security cameras, eight kiosks, and a pedestrian bridge with lifts.

The KTM Komuter Kajang 2 station is precisely located along Jalan Reko, close to Bangi. It is the station that comes after Kajang (where the KTM Komuter meets the MRT) and before UKM if you are travelling from KL.

The name of the new station was adopted by MKH Berhad from the Kajang 2 township. The developer's logo can be seen on the banners up top. then there is good news for those who reside in Kajang 2, Bangi and surrounding areas.

Starting Jan 1, heavy vehicles will no longer be allowed to cross the Kuala Terengganu drawbridge, following the <a rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.carz.com.my/2025/12/overloaded-trucks-crackdown-showing-results-transport-rates-remain-stable" target="_blank" style="">enforcement of new height and weight restrictions aimed at improving safety and protecting the structure.</a>
Under the new rules, lorries, trailers and tourist buses exceeding five tonnes in gross vehicle weight or unladen weight will be barred from using the bridge. The restriction will be enforced through 3.5-metre-high barrier gates, which will be activated at the start of the new year.

He added that the social impact of such works would also outweigh the benefits.Traffic figures from 2024 show the FT2 operating at Level of Service F at Census Station BR101, reflecting extremely heavy traffic conditions. Greater reliance on public transport is also expected once the LRT3 line between Shah Alam and Kuala Lumpur begins service on Dec 31.For the 37.58 KM FT28 MRR2 corridor from Kepong to Sri Petaling, Nanta said congestion relief has been addressed through the Sungai Besi–Ulu Kelang Expressway (SUKE). <a rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.carz.com.my/2025/12/turn-left-at-red-only-when-safe-dbkl" target="_blank" style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) </a>is reminding the public that bollards aren’t just streetscape decoration but they play a crucial role in keeping pedestrians safe from vehicles that might stray onto sidewalks. 
The governing body is also urging motorists and motorcyclists to respect walkways and stop the illegal practice of parking or riding on pavements.According to DBKL,<a rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.carz.com.my/2025/09/dbkl-to-rope-in-scrap-dealers-to-tackle-abandoned-car-surge" target="_blank" style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; white-space-collapse: preserve;"> the bollards are installed with a minimum spacing of 600mm</a>, a carefully considered standard that allows enough room for wheelchair users, parents with strollers, and the elderly to move safely. For added visibility, especially at night or during heavy rain, each bollard is fitted with reflective strips.<span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:Arial,sans-serif;color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-weight:400;font-style:normal;font-variant:normal;text-decoration:none;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre;white-space:pre-wrap;">

DBKL also highlighted that obstructing pedestrian paths not only creates inconvenience but can lead to accidents, and urged the public to report any repeated violations.
