Lamborghini Celebrates 60th Anniversary with 3 Special Huracan Models

2023 has been a very busy and productive year so far for Lamborghini, but the Sant’Agata Bolognese firm shows no signs of slowing down. Aside from launching its next-gen V12 flagship in the form of the Lamborghini Revuelto, the Italian marque also celebrates its 60th anniversary this year.

For its 60th birthday bash, Lamborghini is launching three special edition Huracan models, which includes the Huracan STO, Huracan Tecnica, as well as Huracan EVO Spyder. The marque only plans to build 60 examples of each model, denoting the 60th anniversary since Ferrucio Lamborghini decided to take on Ferrari in their own game.

Staying true to the 60 theme, all 60 models will feature a “1 of 60” carbon fibre plate inside the car, plus the “60th” logo painted on the doors and embroidered on the seats.

Starting off with the most extreme model, the Huracan STO 60th Anniversary Edition comes in two different specifications, both powered by the same 5.2-litre nat-asp V10 mill that delivers up to 631 HP and 565 NM to all four wheels (AWD).
Featuring a monochromatic theme, this STO version comes with Grigio Telesto body colour, plus some Nero Noctis details and exposed carbon fibre parts. To match this, it rides on a set of 20-inch Hek forged aluminium wheels, finished in matte black. On board, it sports Alcantara upholstery in Nero Cosmus and Grigio Octan hues, plus some Rosso Alala stitching.
On the other hand, the second version of the STO sports a blue theme, starting with the Blu Aegeus exterior trim, Blu Astraeus details, plus the Blu Mira carbon fibre accents. Inside, the car is laced with Nero Cosmus and Grigio Octans Alcantara upholstery, plus some Nero Ade details and Blue Amon embroidery.

For the Tecnica model, the 60th Anniversary Special Edition treatment grants it with a Bianco Asopo exterior hue with Verde Viper stripes that runs across its body. This special model rides on a set of 20-inch Damiso alloy wheels, finished in black. Inside, the Tecnica continues to play with the green theme, featuring Verde Viper interior accents that complements the Nero Ade Alcantara upholstery.
Another version of the Tecnica follows the same monochromatic theme as the STO, painted in Grigio Teleso with Nero Noctis and Rosso Mars accents. The interior follows the same red-black theme, featuring Nero Ade Alcantara upholstery combined with Rosso Alala trims and details.

Both special models are based on the standard Huracan Tecnica model, harnessing the same 5.2-litre V10 mill as the STO, delivering 631 HP and 565 NM to boot. Unlike the STO however, the Tecnica sports a rear-wheel drive (RWD) system.

Moving on to the sole convertible variants, the Huracan EVO Spyder 60th Anniversary Edition is powered by the standard Huracan V10 mill that outputs 602 HP. In terms of styling, it also comes in two versions, with the first one being the Verde Viper-hued version with Bianco Isi accents and stripes. On board, the green-hued EVO Spyder sports a Nero Ade Alcantara upholstery with Rossa Alala and Bianco Leda details.
Another version of the EVO Spyder rocks a Blue Le Mans exterior hue with Bianco Isi stripes and Nero Ade Alcantara upholstery with Blue Amon and Bianco Leda accents on board. Both models, however, ride on the same 20-inch Damiso alloy wheels, just like the Tecnica models.

This special edition trio will make its public debut later in Apr 21 in Segheria, Milan, alongside the newly-launched Revuelto, as part of the marque’s 60th birthday celebration. With the next-gen Huracan replacement set to feature an electrified powertrain, this might be the last chance to get a fully ICE-powered nat-asp V10 Lambos.
