Peugeot 2008 Gains Special Edition Accessories Pack Priced At RM2.9K

Bermaz Auto Alliance, sole distributor of Peugeot vehicles in Malaysia, introduced a new optional styling package for the Peugeot 2008 compact crossover today. Dubbed as the Peugeot 2008 Special Edition (SE) package, It’s designed to elevate the 2008’s already fierce styling stance further.

For starters, the SE package comes with unique graphic decals primed on the bonnet and both sides of the car, finished in black and red.

To complement this, the package also grants the 2008’s aerokit, namely the parts primed in both the front and rear bumpers, as well as the side skirts, with a matte black finish, not forgetting a set of 17-inch wheels featuring new spoke design and gloss Piano Black finish.
Beyond these sporty aesthetic add-ons, the package doesn’t include any mechanical or performance upgrades. Of course, this isn’t bad news entirely considering the 2008’s respectably peppy 1.2-litre PureTech 3-cyl turbo powertrain’s delivery of 128 HP and 230 NM.

Keen to specify this sporty SE package for the Peugeot 2008? Take note, it commands an additional RM2,900 premium on top of the 2008’s RM134,103 base price (sans insurance). Orders can be placed through authorised Peugeot dealers nationwide now, with deliveries expected to commence towards the end of April.
Additionally, the SE package is offered exclusively for the model in either its Orange Fusion or Pearl White colourway choices. Said price includes a one-year Peugeot Genuine Accessory Warranty based on the period of fitment at the time of purchase.
What do you folks think of this sporty cost-option for the French silver lion marque’s sporty ‘baby’ crossover SUV, then? Hit the comments below with your thoughts…
