Volvo Malaysia Opens New Certified Damage Repair Centre in Juru, Penang
Volvo Car Malaysia (VCM) has opened its latest Volvo Certified Damage Repair Centre (CDRC) in Juru, Penang. This first-ever CDRC in the Northern Peninsula Malaysia region is also the biggest of its kind in the whole country.
Managed by iRoll Ipoh Sdn Bhd, Volvo CDRC in Juru offers services like body repair, parts replacement, as well as body painting services.
Speaking during the launch, VCM managing director Charles Frump said, “The opening of our newest and biggest Volvo Certified Damage Repair Centre facility in Juru, Penang marks our commitment to providing our customers with top-notch after sales care service.”
“Our customers have always been a priority and with our third Volvo Certified Damage Repair Centre opening in less than a year, they can be assured that they are taken care off with Volvo’s international standard of care,” Frump added.
Strategically located within the Northern Peninsula Malaysia economic corridor, Juru was chosen as the latest location for the northern branch of Volvo CDRC. This new 40,000 sq-ft complex is brimmed with the latest technology, handled by skilled technicians trained by Volvo. There’s also ample vehicle bays that can handle multiple cars at once, ensuring high operational efficiency at all times.
Among the hi-tech equipment is the advanced vehicle inspection system, the Car-O-Liner. This cutting-edge body and chassis alignment system enables technicians to detect any defects and damages on Volvo cars without needing to disassemble the car parts. With this, any Volvo cars coming in for inspection can be calibrated back to factory standards with unrivalled precision and speed.
Elsewhere, the new Volvo CDRC also contains the PIVAB mixing room and PIVAB spray booth that handle any paint jobs. The mixing room provides the technicians with a controlled environment where they can carefully mix the paint accurately and consistently, while the spray booth helps remove fumes and particles from the air, which provides a healthier and safer space for the technicians to work in.
The Volvo Certified Damage Repair Centre in Juru Penang is located at Lot 829, Jalan Saga Jaya 3, Taman Perindustrian Saga Jaya, 13600 Perai, Penang. For more information about the Volvo Certified Damage Repair Centre in Juru, visit Volvo Malaysia’s official website.
