Official: Ital Auto Appointed As Ferrari’s New Official Distributor in Malaysia

Renowned Italian sportscar marque Ferrari has officially appointed Ital Auto Malaysia Sdn Bhd as the new distributor and importer of Ferrari cars here in Malaysia, confirming our previous report. Taking over things from Naza Italia, this newly-appointed firm is set to get things running immediately, with plans to expand its venture already underway.
As we reported earlier, Ital Auto will take over Naza Italia’s existing client deposits and bookings for Ferrari vehicles, with the entire operational team from Naza Italia already jumping on board.

To accommodate this transition, an interim service facility is currently under construction by the firm, where all aftersales services for Ferrari Malaysia will take place. Located in Glenmarie, this new interim service centre is set to open its doors by June this year. This will be followed by an interim city showroom, located in the retail sector of Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur, set to open later in August 2023.
To further elevate the ownership experience for Ferrari clients in Malaysia, the firm is planning to open a brand new Ferrari flagship 3S centre. Though its location is yet to be disclosed by Ital Auto, this new facility will open its doors to the public and Ferrari clients alike later in Q1, 2025.

Ferrari clients can expect more Ferrari-only track days like this taking place under Ital Auto's stewardship
Ital Auto’s appointment as the new Ferrari distributor in Malaysia is no surprise, as the firm has already been an official distributor of the brand in Singapore since 2009. With vast experience handling the high expectations set by both Ferrari and its exclusive clientele, it is no doubt that Ital Auto Malaysia will carry the Prancing Horse’s name very well.
For reference, Ital Auto is part of the bigger Singapore auto firm, Komoco Holdings. Founded way back in 1986 as Komoco Motors, this firm is currently in-charge of handling exotic marques like Ferrari, Maserati, and Alfa Romeo in several key Asian markets including Singapore, China, as well as its newest market venture, Malaysia.
