GWM Opens 4S Centres - Negeri Sembilan & Penang

GWM Malaysia announced the grand opening of two new 4S service centres in Butterworth, Penang, and Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. These state-of-the-art centres were made possible through GWM's partnership with dealer partners CS Euro Auto Sdn Bhd and Seremban Victory Credit Sdn Bhd. The opening ceremony of Seremban Victory Credit Sdn Bhd was graced by the presence of Transport Minister, YB Anthony Loke Siew Fook, who officiated the event.
The establishment of the 4S service centre in Seremban is a significant step for GWM Malaysia as it caters to the growing population and the trend of people moving from cities to suburban areas. This move aligns with GWM's commitment to support the Malaysian government's efforts to become a carbon-neutral nation by 2050. In Penang, the rapidly expanding EV charging network and the city's status as a major urban centre make it an ideal location for GWM's new service centre.

During his speech, Transport Minister YB Anthony Loke acknowledged concerns about the potential increase in road tax for electric vehicles (EVs) after the current exemption policy expires in 2025. However, he assured the public that the government intends to provide clear and transparent information on how the road tax will be calculated, aligning their policies with the goal of promoting EV adoption in Malaysia.

Both the Seremban and Penang 4S centres will showcase GWM's latest lineup of new energy vehicles and offer comprehensive after sales service support. This initiative supports the government's plans to encourage EV adoption and achieve a national target of 15% total industry volume for EVs and hybrids by 2030. To ensure the longevity and performance of their vehicles, GWM will stock genuine spare parts at both centres, providing customers with peace of mind.

In terms of facilities, both the Seremban and Penang centres boast spacious showrooms capable of accommodating a wide range of GWM new energy vehicles. Additionally, they will provide amenities such as Wi-Fi, a meeting room, open lounge area, gaming area, and complimentary coffee and snacks. The Penang centre will occupy a 25,000 sq-ft area with 6 service bays, 5 vehicle displays, and 17 staff members, while the Seremban centre will cover 11,000 sq-ft with 4 service bays, 5 display vehicles, and 12 staff members.

GWM Malaysia is committed to building trust and loyalty among its customer base by offering comprehensive after-sales support and maintaining a strong service network. The recent establishment of the 4S centre in USJ, Klang Valley, further demonstrates their dedication to providing top-notch service to their customers.
