Lingkaran Trans Kota Sdn. Bhd (LITRAK) will conduct a contra-flow study from KM 19.2 (after Canopy A, Petaling Jaya Toll Plaza) to KM 22 (from Bandar Sunway towards Putrajaya / Shah Alam), LDP, as part of our efforts to alleviate traffic congestion during evening peak hours. This study will begin on July 17, 2023 (Monday) and run for three months, from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM daily.
Only Class 1 vehicles and users with Touch 'n Go cards have access to the contra-flow path. As a result, traffic will be diverted at the following places during this contra-flow study:
- Starting from KM 19.2 after Canopy A, Petaling Jaya Toll Plaza to KM 22 from Bandar Sunway towards Putrajaya/ Shah Alam
- Starting from KM 22 to KM 19.2 from Puchong towards Petaling Jaya / Bandar Sunway
Please keep in mind that the contra-flow path is only for users travelling towards Putrajaya/Shah Alam. For more information, please see the diagram below.
During the contra-flow research phase, highway users travelling from Puchong to Bandar Sunway/Petaling Jaya are encouraged to take the left lane or take alternate routes.
This contra-flow study is being carried out in accordance with LITRAK's strategic action plan, which aims to reduce traffic congestion for highway users returning home.
