Ford Ranger Getaways Beginners 4WD Course - M4TREC Selangor & Sar4Trac Sarawak

Did you know the purchase of your Ford Ranger and Ranger Raptor entitles you to join in the exclusive inner-circle of Ford’s 4x4 world which includes enhancing your skill set in unleashing the full potential of your truck. 

For all these, Ford has the specialised Ford Ranger Getaways experience series which included various excursions and training to ensure you maximise the ownership experience. There are two upcoming training programs specially curated for 4x4 beginners.

To kick thing off, the initial training session will take place at the M4TREC Beginner 4WD Course in Semenyih, Selangor on August 26, 2023, followed by the next session at the Sar4Trac Beginner 4WD Course in Kampung Barieng, Bau, Sarawak on September 16, 2023.

Both these courses are designed for those who are new to 4x4 driving and eager to embark on off-roading adventures by aiming themselves to the essential knowledge and fundamental techniques for safe off-road driving under the watchful eyes of a team of HRDF-certified professional instructors at the centres. Participants are also encouraged to bring along a companion while networking with like-minded 4x4 enthusiasts.

According to Turse Zuhair, Managing Director of Sime Darby Auto ConneXion-Ford, “We are committed to helping customers unlock the true potential of their Rangers and Raptors so they can live their life to the fullest. Both these Beginner 4WD Courses are excellent opportunities for owners, especially Next-Gen customers, to learn the skills needed to pilot their vehicle safely and confidently in different types of terrain.”

Each training session which would cost RM498 per person (capped at two individuals per vehicle) will commence with a detailed safety briefing, covering the fundamentals of 4x4 driving and the obstacle courses. Participants would also be able to, under the expert guidance of the instructors, put these basic techniques into practice while tackling various obstacles during the hands-on session.

Of the two courses, M4TREC would feature a Dirt Track, Roller Ramp, Frame Twister, Ridge Crossing / Slide Slope, Mud & Ruts, Rutted Track, Ditch, Hill Descend, Hill Ascend, and Mud Dash while Sar4Trac includes obstacles through Ngirobuh banana plantation, including Dirt Track, Frame Twister, Mud & Gravel, Rutted Track, Ditch, Hill Ascent, Hill Descent, and Water Wading.

All participants would be awarded a Certificate of Completion upon successfully completing either the training sessions. Any Ranger owner who has not redeemed their Inner Circle privilege card code can take advantage of a 30 percent discount when signing up to training experience.

Furthermore, early bird owners of the Next-Gen Ranger Raptor 2.0L Bi-Turbo Diesel which was launched in June 2023 are encouraged to redeem their Getaways discount before it expires in June 2024.
