GWM Malaysia ICE To BEV Easy Conversion Plan - Long Term Test Drive & More

GWM Malaysia has announced an ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) to BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle) Easy Conversion Plan, with the goal of increasing EV adoption in Malaysia. This project supports Malaysia's objective of reaching net-zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2050, as well as commemorating ORA's 400,000th production milestone in China.

The GWM Malaysia EV Easy Conversion Plan encompasses the following:

• 2-Day Extensive Test-Drive: Customers can experience the ORA Good Cat through a comprehensive 2-day test-drive, allowing them to familiarise themselves with electric vehicle (EV) driving at their own pace.
• ICE to BEV Trade-in Assist: GWM offers support for customers looking to trade in their Internal Combustion Engine vehicles when transitioning to a BEV, making the switch more seamless.
• Free RM1,000 Charging Credits: New BEV owners will receive RM1,000 in charging credits at select EV charging stations, helping them adapt to the charging infrastructure.
• Free Accessory: As an added bonus, buyers of the ORA Good Cat will receive a complimentary accessory.

Mr. Mike Cui, Managing Director of GWM Malaysia further emphasised the company's commitment in addressing customers concerns with regards to EV adoption which includes issues such as range anxiety and availability of charging infrastructure. He also added that the Easy Conversion Plan aims to tackle these concerns and make owning the ORA Good Cat an attractive proposition."

Moreover, buyers can also take advantage of additional benefits which includes a complimentary portable and home charger, a 5-year or up to 150,000KM vehicle warranty, and an 8-year or up to 180,000KM battery warranty.
