Subaru Reports July 2023 Sales And Production

Subaru has officially announced its July 2023 production, sales in Japan, and export results.


The automaker reports a total global production of 85,192 vehicles. The sum is made up of 61,432 items produced domestically, and the remaining 23,760 items are imported.

It sold 8,141 vehicles in July 2023, representing a 24.6 percent decrease over July 2022. Meanwhile, the total number of exports is 50, 445, a 21.1 percent increase over the same month in 2022.

On the Electric vehicles (EVs), the Japanese automaker set goals for selling and manufacturing EVs, aiming for global sales of 200,000 units per year by 2026 as it seeks to enter the growing EV market.

The company, known for its Outback crossover and heavy reliance on the North American market, announced an annual production capacity of 400,000 battery EVs by 2028. image.png
