2024 Porsche Cayenne S E-Hybrid Debuts As New Mid-Range PHEV With 512 HP

New to the 2024 Porsche Cayenne E3 facelift range now is this mid-range Cayenne S E-Hybrid guise.
The heavily revised 2024 Porsche Cayenne SUV range just grew larger this week following the debut of a new and third E-Hybrid guise. Positioned as the mid-spec electrified offering in its range now is the new 2024 Porsche Cayenne S E-Hybrid, which can be had in either regular or coupe SUV bodystyles.

This new mid-spec E-Hybrid variant pairs a 3.0-litre V6 turbo with an electric motor and 25.9 kWh battery, altogether producing 512 HP and 750 NM.
Slotting in between the base Cayenne E-Hybrid and manic ultra high-performance Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid, the Cayenne S E-Hybrid sees its 3.0-litre V6 turbo heart augmented with an electric motor and 25.9 kWh battery pack, just like the other two electrified variants mentioned.
Altogether, said package sees a total system output of 512 HP and 750 NM, thus enabling this variant of the Cayenne to despatch 0-100 KM/H in just 4.7 seconds before maxing out at 263 KM/H. For reference, the now V8-powered Cayenne S is 0.1 seconds slower in the century sprint against this mid-spec hybrid.

This new guise also comes primed with plenty of high-end kit such as a trick air suspension suite, Sport Chrono pack, 8-way power seats, and more.
Besides added performance, the electrified elements boasts the same 11 kW AC charging input compatibility as seen in the other two hybrid variants noted, which sees full re-charges attained in just 2.5 hours when using a Level 2 charger. Additionally, a full charge also grants between 71 to 78 KM (WLTP) all-electric driving range too.
Additionally, this new S E-Hybrid guise also benefits with a bevy of premium kit primed as standard. Highlights include the revamped Cayenne range’s signature dual-chamber and dual-valve air suspension system, matrix LED headlights, 20-inch wheels, eight-way power seats, silver (Standard) and black (Coupe) exterior trims, keyless entry and ignition, Sport Chrono pack, and lane-change assist.

Now opened for orders, deliveries for the 2024 Porsche Cayenne S E-Hybrid will commence early next year.
Now open for orders, deliveries of the 2024 Porsche Cayenne S E-Hybrid variant are slated to commence early in 2024. Locally, it remains uncertain if this variant of the revamped Cayenne is available just yet via Porsche Malaysia (Sime Darby Auto Performance – SDAP).
