Toyota Gazoo Racing Festival Season 6 Finale takes place this weekend at SIC!

Toyota Gazoo Racing Festival Season 6 is gearing up for its season finale this weekend at the Sepang International Circuit (SIC). The two-day motorsports festival runs from Saturday, 30 Sept to Sunday, 1 Oct, and there’s plenty of thrilling activities for attending fans to look forward to.

The weekend's main event will be hotly contested Toyota Vios Challenge races as champions across all four competition classes will be crowned.

“The finale has been curated as a special thank you and to celebrate all our fans who have been instrumental in the continued success of the Toyota Gazoo Racing Festival,” says UMW Toyota Motor President, Datuk Ravindran K.

Leading the bill is of course the intense competition between the 45 drivers that make up the field for the Toyota Gazoo Racing Vios Challenge races. This weekend’s Round 3 races will be pivotal as the champions for each of the series’ four competition classes will finally be crowned.

The next-gen Vios Challenge racecar based on the latest-gen (AC100) Vios will debut on track this weekend during the Gazoo Racing Festival Season 6 Finale.

Moreover, fans can look forward to seeing the local racing debut of the new Toyota Vios Challenge racecar based on the all-new fourth-gen (AC100) Vios model that launched in the market this year. A fleet of these next-gen machines will be raced by the celebrities in the Promotional Class this weekend.

Said new next-gen Vios race machine will be adopted by the Vios Challenge for next season where it promises to be both a quicker and better-handling machine than the current Vios challenge cars.

Next comes special live concerts featuring a bevy of major local acts. The bill for Day 1 sees KMY KMO and Luca Sickta opening ahead of headliners OAG. Day 2, on the other hand, also sees alternative rockers Iqbal M opening for the headlining 16 Baris hip hop ensemble led by Joe Flizzow, MK, SonaOne, ALYPH, AbangSapau, Killa Driz, Sophia Liana, Gard, Pele, Fuego & DJ CZA.
