ChargeSini has announced its newest charging facility, which is conveniently located in Bukit Rimau, near Kota Kemuning. This charging station would be housed at the Columbia Asia Hospital covered parking space, making it the sole covered DC charging facility in the area, as the Starbucks DC charging station does not provide any shade.

ChargeSini has installed one (1) 40kW DCFC and two (2) 22kW AC chargers at this location. The DCFC are furnished with dual CCS2 charging guns, allowing them to charge up to two EVs at the same time.

To begin charging at the ChargeSini EV Charger, users must first download the ChargeSini smartphone software, which is available for both Android and iOS. All ChargeSini charging stations include automatic parking barriers that fall to allow charging based on client input via their mobile app.

Please keep in mind that the Columbia Asia Hospital DCFC parking barriers are still not operational, thus users are recommended to manually lower the barrier if they wish to use the EV Chargers. Do remember to put it up once you are down to prevent ICE’ing.

The charging rate offered via the ChargeSini app is variable based on minutes of usage and the kW charge rate. For example a full 40kWh session would set you back RM0.94 per minute while a 22kWh session would cost you RM0.46 per minute.

All ChargeSini sessions will have an RM5 reservation fee, and drivers will have a 15-minute grace period to remove their vehicle once their charging session has over. Users who do not remove their vehicle will be charged a RM1 idle fee for every 5 minutes the vehicle remains in the charging bay.
